About The Event
Tickets On Sale Now!
Delayed due to COVID, Listyn KC is celebrating the 30th anniversary of two seminal albums in alternative rock and grunge -- Pearl Jam's "Ten" & Nirvana's "Nevermind". Released within a few weeks of each other in 1991, both of these debut albums and bands went on to have a massive impact on the music world. We will be exploring their shared influences, histories, legacies, and "Listyning" to both albums. Even if your mind is made up as to which one is the best, show up and experience them on a world-class stereo system. We will be talking about this one for years to come, so this will be a Listyn KC you won't want to miss.
All Listyn KC shows benefit the Center For Recorded Music, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization bringing to life a new world-class cultural center and music education facility in Kansas City.
Tickets are available for $15 including Non-Alcoholic Beverages or $35 which includes your Food and a selection of Non-Alcoholic and Alcoholic Beverages (21+ for Alcohol, ID required). Please bring cash for tipping bartending staff as credit cards cannot be accepted. Food selection for this show will include a selection of Pizza, Hors d'oeuvres, "heavy" appetizers, and fruit (vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free options will be available). UMKC Catering requires us to have a final food order prior to the show, so the $35 Food and Beverage tickets will only be on sale until Noon on the Wednesday before the show. We are sorry, but we will not be able to accommodate any additional food requests once ticket sales are closed.
